In addition to his national efforts to spur investment in alternative and renewable energy sources and to encourage efficiencies and conservation measures, Congressman Tierney has been working with residents, schools and local government to improve energy efficiency in our homes, schools and local businesses.

In the district, Congressman Tierney joined experts on building energy, representatives from state and federal energy agencies, utility companies and others to share information on efficiency programs and incentives like the ENERGY STAR Change a Light, Change the World Campaign, recent developments in renewable energy projects and other measures for saving energy. In addition, local cities and towns shared their success stories about how they implemented money-saving efficiency projects and invested in renewable energy generation.
